Sometimes we recommend sanding to our customers. This was the case for the hardwood floors in this Astoria apartment's bedroom. A previous contractor had done an uneven sanding job and applied inadequate protection using a lower quality polyurethane. This resulted in the extensive damage on the wood floors as seen in this photo.

 

 

Our Sanding Process utilizes special machines that minimize the creation of dust. Our specialists performed a deep sanding on the hardwood floor, removing all of the damaged layers from the boards to reveal the healthy wood beneath. After the wood floor was sealed and several layers of our high quality, commercial grade polyurethane was applied the hardwood floor now has a vibrant color and consistent shine. The customer was very happy with their newly restored hardwood flooring!
