 Before - Hardwood Floor Restoration:
Hardwood Floor Restoration NYC

The hardwood floor beneath the carpet was dull and lifeless due to the dirt and debris embedded in the wood over time. Also, a previous contractor had replaced a large area of the parquet floor and left it unfinished. The rest of the hardwood floor had been stained, making the unfinished area stand out even more.

Hardwood Floor Restoration NYC

Besides needing to be stained to match the rest of the floor, this newly installed parquet flooring was not leveled out by the previous contractor. The newly installed section was about 1/6 of an inch higher than the original floor.

Residential Home - Yonkers, NY

Before:
Wood Floor Sanding, Westchester, NY

Sometimes our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists recommend that a floor be sanded. This was the case with this customer's floor. The dining room floor was refinished improperly the last time it was sanded. Lines from the sanding machine were visible throughout the room and the floor was coated with a low grade polyurethane that dissolved quickly over time. Because of these conditions dirt and debris penetrated the wood floor. The damage is apparent in this photo in the blackened floor boards and uneven coloring throughout the room. The sheen on the floor was diminished as well, leaving the wood floor dull and lifeless.
