Before:

 

This customer needed the hardwood floors in their Living Room and Den refinished. The contractors who had previously sanded the floors did a poor job. The wood floor was scarred in places from the sanding machines and there was uneven staining throughout the room. Also, a sub-par polyurethane was used that was not holding up. This left exposed areas in the hardwood flooring where dirt and grime was embedded in the floor and causing further discoloration and damage.

 

This opposite view of the Living Room shows the presence of discolored hardwood boards and damaged areas where soils were embedded in the floor.

 

 

The hardwood floors in the Den displayed the same issues as the Living Room. The discolored boards are apparent along the top and right side of the photo. Since the problems this customer's hardwood floors displayed were due to the initial sanding of the floors, another sanding was required. With the use of our specialized sanding equipment, our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists were able to correct the damage done to the floors by the previous contractors. Our sanding machines produce very small amounts of dust - this means that there are minimal health risks and mess involved in the process! This picture shows  the hardwood floor in the Living Room after our sanding process.

 

 

Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists made several passes with varying grades of sandpaper. This made sure that all of the imperfections left by the previous refinishers were removed and a smooth, even finish was achieved. After the hardwood floor was sealed, multiple layers of high quality, commercial grade polyurethane were applied. After our sanding process the wood floors in the Living Room now display a beautifully restored color with a vibrant, consistent shine!

 

Our sanding process worked wonderfully in the customer's Den as well. The original color of the hardwood flooring was restored and it has a beautiful finish that matches perfectly with the connected Living Room. With our high quality polyurethane these wood floors will stay vibrant and protected for many years to come! The customer was very happy!
