This customer wanted the hardwood floor in their bedroom refinished. Over the years a buildup of soils in the wood flooring caused the discoloration and fading seen in the photo. Dark patches on the wood floor are areas where the polyurethane was completely deteriorated, exposing the vulnerable wood beneath. Once the soils were extracted and the hardwood floor was completely sanitized, multiple layers of a high quality, commercial grade polyurethane were applied.
