Apartment - Midtown West, NY
Before:
This customer wanted the hardwood floors in their apartment refinished. Over time dirt and debris became embedded in the wood floor. This deteriorated the polyurethane, leaving the hardwood floor susceptible to damage.
The results of the embedded soils can be seen clearly in this photo. There was discoloration throughout the apartment and especially where the polyurethane was completely dissolved. Another issue the customer faced was the fact that the furniture could not be removed from the apartment during the restoration process. This was not a problem for our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists, who would employ our "Half and Half" method. This involves moving the furniture to one side and refinishing the exposed hardwood flooring. The furniture is then moved onto the newly restored wood floor and the rest of the apartment is restored in the same way.
Another angle of the wood floor highlights the severely damaged areas present throughout the apartment.

Half And Half Method:
Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Process uses special machinery and compounds to remove all of the dirt and debris embedded in a wood floor. The hardwood floor is then completely sanitized and multiple layers of a high quality, commercial grade polyurethane are applied. The results can be seen in the photo - the hardwood floor was completely restored and has a beautiful color and vibrant shine!
Another area of the newly restored hardwood flooring shows that the blackened, damaged areas were completely restored using our Sandless Finish Harwood Floor Refinishing Process.

Once the polyurethane was allowed to cure, the furniture was moved onto the newly restored area of hardwood flooring to reveal the second half of the room. This half showed the same issues as the rest of the apartment.
After:
The second half of hardwood flooring was restored using our Sandless Finish Process, resulting in the newly restored condition seen in the photo. Our customer was very excited about the effectiveness of our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Process - and it was all completed without having to remove the furniture from the apartment!
