Apartment - Chelsea, NY
This customer wanted the hardwood floor in their entranceway and living room refinished. Over the years soils embedded themselves in the floor, causing the discoloration and fading seen in the photo.
Another issue the customer had was the gaps showing up between the boards of the wood floor. Wood expands with warm weather and contracts in the cold. This is typical of all hardwood flooring, but the materials used to fill the gaps in this wood floor were sub-par. Subsequently, the material cracked with the natural expansion and subtraction of the hardwood floor, causing the unsightly gaps.
The customer did not want to remove the carpet and furniture in the living room. This was not a problem for our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists. Our Sandless Finish Process can safely work around furniture and carpeting.
Another view of the living room shows the fading of color and shine present throughout the room.
The same gaps appeared in the living room and would need to be repaired by our Specialists.
