Living Room

This customer's hardwood floors were heavily ingrained with dirt and debris which was starting to dissolve the polyurethane and causing the floor to lose it's luster. Also, the floor was not covered properly when the apartment was painted, resulting in paint splashes throughout the surface of the wood. Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Process was was needed to restore these floors.

Hallway

This photo shows the hallway which exhibited the same issues as the living room.

1st Bedroom

The hardwood floors in this bedroom displayed the same problems as the Living Room and Hallway. However, grey areas can be seen on the floor where the polyurethane had deteriorated even more than in the rest of the apartment. The wood in these areas was discolored due to a lack of protection and an accumulation of dirt and debris.

2nd Bedroom

The hardwood flooring in the second bedroom showed the same problems as the rest of the apartment.

Living Room

Our Sandless Finish specialists were able to restore the floors using our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing process. Our Eco-Friendly compounds and special machinery safely removed all of the paint, dirt and debris that were damaging the floor and causing it's dull appearance. After an application of high-quality, commercial grade polyurethane the hardwood floor's vitality and shine were restored and the flooring is now protected for many years to come.

Hallway

Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Process had the same success in the hallway!

1st Bedroom

As you can see, the Sandless Finish process was also very effective on the hardwood floors in this bedroom. All of the paint and grime was removed from the floor, allowing the true color of the wood to be restored. The previously unprotected grey areas were sanitized during our process and now blend seamlessly with the rest of the wood. Our high-quality, commercial grade polyurethane guarantees that the floor will stay protected long into the future.

2nd Bedroom

The hardwood flooring in the second bedroom was also restored using our Eco-Friendly Sandless Finish Process.

Apartment - Upper East Side, NY, NY

 

 

Before:

 

This customer was moving into a new apartment and the hardwood floors were in drastic need of restoration. Sections of the flooring were replaced and left unfinished and there was a layer of grime keeping the floor's original color from shining through.

 

 

This view shows where a section of the wood floor was replaced. Our Hardwood Floor Refinishing experts would have to create a custom color in order to blend the area with the rest of the floor. This was a perfect situation for our Sandless Finish Color Blending process.

 

 

 

This photo shows where the previous tenants had left tape on the floor. Over time the glue from the tape dissolved the polyurethane leaving the wood floor discolored and unprotected.

Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing specialists were able to successfully restore the customer's floor. After our deep cleaning process our specialists created a custom stain using our Sandless Finish Color Blending technique. This allowed them to blend the unfinished areas seamlessly with the rest of the floor. A high-grade commercial polyurethane was applied and now the shine and color of the floor is uniform throughout the apartment.

Bedroom

This customer was not happy with the condition of the hardwood floors in their new apartment. The previous tenants had not taken proper care of the wood flooring, allowing the condition to deteriorate. The polyurethane was fading and damaged and there were scratches and paint throughout the floor.

Before:

This customer wanted their hardwood parquet floor refinished after years of having it covered with carpeting. Upon removing the carpet, fading and deterioration of the polyurethane was revealed. This results in uneven coloring throughout the floor and exposed areas that are vulnerable to damage.

This customer had an engineered hardwood floor which took on a lot of distress and could be not be sanded. Sanding is not an option with these types of floors because they are not solid hardwood floors and would fall apart if sanded.

These parquet floors were previously carpeted. As dirt and debris were filtered through the carpet and onto the floor over time, the polyurethane was broken down. In this case the old parquet flooring took on heavy damage due to improper sealing, staining and refinishing. We specialize in parquet floor restoration which should absolutely not be refinished in the same fashion as regular hardwood plank flooring.
