Apartment - Long Island City, Queens, NYC
Before:
This customer wanted the hardwood floor in their new apartment refinished. Over the years dirt and debris became embedded in the wood floors, causing the fading and discoloration seen in the photos. The customer also wanted a more natural look and feel to their hardwood floors, as opposed to the white stained look seen here.
The previous tenants also repeatedly dragged heavy objects across the hardwood floor. This left deep scratches and unprotected areas of wood flooring throughout the room. The resulting damage can be seen in the heavily discolored and damaged areas in this close-up.
A view of the entranceway displays the same issues as the rest of the hardwood floor. In some instances our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists recommend sanding a floor. Such was the case for this customer.
After:
Our Sandless Finish Deep Sanding Process produces minimal dust while ensuring that all damaged layers of the hardwood floor are removed. Once the healthy wood beneath is exposed our Specialists seal the wood floor and apply multiple layers of a high quality, commercial grade polyurethane.
As you can see, all of the scratches and damage were removed from this hardwood floor and the natural color was restored!
The newly restored wood floor has a natural, beautiful color and a consistent shine that the customer absolutely loves!
