This customer wanted the hardwood floor in their new apartment refinished. The previous tenants had not properly cared for the floor which led to the conditions seen in the photo. The strip of clean wood floor in this picture shows the beginning of our Sandless Finish Deep Sanding Process.

This close up shows how the finish of the hardwood floor was completely gone in areas. This causes discoloration and leaves the wood floor vulnerable to further damage. Besides having the hardwood floor refinished, the customer also wanted a darker, warmer look for their apartment. In some instances our Sandless Finish Specialists recommend sanding a wood floor. Such was the case for this customer.

After:

Once all damaged layers of wood were removed, our Custom Color Blending Specialists created a custom stain to match the customer's vision for the apartment. As you can see, a vibrant, consistent color was achieved throughout the room!

This close-up highlights the removal of all damaged areas from the hardwood flooring. After staining, our Specialists applied multiple layers of a high quality, commercial grade polyurethane to ensure the wood floors will stay protected for many years to come. Needless to say, the customer was very happy with their new floor!
