Apartment - Chelsea, NYC
This customer wanted the hardwood floor in their new apartment refinished. Over the years, dirt and debris became embedded in the wood floor. This causes the finish to deteriorate and leaves the wood floor discolored and susceptible to further damage.
This close up of the hardwood floor highlights the discoloration and uneven finish present throughout the room. In some instances our Sandless Finish Specialists recommend sanding a wood floor. Such was the case for this customer.
Our Sandless Finish Deep Sanding Process utilizes special machinery that minimizes the creation of dust. This is an eco-friendly method that completely removes all damaged layers of wood to reveal the healthy hardwood floor beneath. Once the smoothest possible surface is achieved, multiple layers of a high quality, commercial grade polyurethane are applied.
As you can see, all damaged layers of the hardwood flooring were removed. The wood floor now has a vibrant color and consistent shine that the customer loves!
