Audio, Video And Controls, Inc. - Tribeca, NY, NY
Before:
Audio, Video and Controls (AV&C) is a New York City based systems design firm providing design, engineering and system integration services to clients globally. The customer wanted to have their hardwood floors refinished. However, AV&C could not afford to shut down their office to accommodate the lengthy process of traditional sanding. Another issue faced by our customer was that the furniture and equipment could not be removed from the office. Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Process was the perfect solution for this situation!
Years of wear and tear on the hardwood floors created the conditions seen in the photo. The overall wood floor was dull and lifeless with accumulated dirt and debris. The finish on the wood floor beneath the desks was a particular problem. Over time the rolling chairs completely dissolved the finish, allowing soils to embed themselves directly into the wood. This caused the heavy damage and discoloration seen here.
Another view of the office shows how the extensive damage was present throughout the entire office.
This personal office's hardwood floor was prey to the same conditions as the rest of the office. The damage and discoloration would need to be corrected in order to successfully restore these hardwood floors.

The general dirt and debris throughout the office was causing the hardwood floors to have the soiled, lackluster appearance seen here.

In order to restore these hardwood floors based on our customer's time schedule our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists needed to restore the floors over the weekend - a goal that is not possible with traditional sanding methods. Any furniture that was moveable was removed from the floor and our Specialists began the Sandless Finish Process.
Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Process is a wet method that uses special machinery and compounds to remove all soils from the wood floor. The method is completely dustless which was very important to the customer since all of their equipment and furniture needed to remain in the office.
Our Specialists first extracted all of the dirt and debris from these hardwood floors using our Sandless Finish Process. Special care was taken on the areas of wood flooring beneath the desks where the damage was heaviest.
As you can see from the photos, our process was able to restore the vitality to the heavily damaged areas, as well as the rest of the hardwood floors.
