Apartment - Midtown West, NY

This customer wanted the hardwood floor in their new apartment's kitchen refinished. The previous tenant had not cared properly for the wood floor, resulting in the uneven finish and overall dull appearance seen in the photo. The previous tenant had also worn high heels in the kitchen which created deep divots throughout the room. In some circumstances our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists recommend sanding a floor, as was the case for this customer.

Using our Sandless Finish Deep Sanding Method, our Specialists were able to remove all of the damaged layers of wood, even in the areas effected by the previous tenant's high heels. Once the healthy wood was exposed and a smooth surface was attained our Specialists created a custom stain to achieve a natural appearance that the customer loves! This customer was moving into a new apartment and wanted the hardwood floor in their dining room refinished. Over the years, embedded dirt and debris caused the loss of color and shine seen in the photo.

This area of the wood floor was of particular concern for our customer. Pet stains deteriorated the polyurethane of the floor and damaged the wood beneath. This caused the black discoloration seen in the photo.

Particular attention was paid to the previously pet stained areas. This customer was moving into a new apartment and wanted to have the hardwood floors refinished. The previous tenants had allowed dirt and debris to embed themselves into the wood floor, causing the discoloration and fading seen in the photo. The customer also wanted to change the color of their hardwood floors which was not a problem for our Sandless Finsh Staining Process!

This bedroom also needed to be refinished. When soils are allowed to sit on a hardwood floor over time the polyurethane deteriorates, leaving the floor discolored, faded and prone to further damage. Luckily for our customer, the Sandless Finish method completely removes all of the dirt and debris and restores the wood floor to it's original, healthy condition!
 
Half and Half Method:

In this situation removing the furniture from the apartment was not an option. Under such circumstances our Specialists will employ a "half and half" method.
