Residential Home - Scarsdale, NY
Before:
This customer wanted the hardwood floors in their living room and dining room refinished. They were no longer happy with the color of their wood floors - they wanted a more natural look to their hardwood flooring.
A reverse shot of the living room shows the toll that years of dirt and debris have taken on the wood floor. Soils embedded in a hardwood floor over time lead to a reduced luster and fading of color, as can be seen in the photo.
Leaks in the past also lead to some damaged areas as seen in this photo.
The dining room displayed the same issues as the rest of the hardwood floors. In some instances our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists suggest sanding a wood floor. This was the case for this customer.
After:
Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists are experts in the method of sanding. The results of our Sandless Finish Deep Sanding and Custom Staining Processes can be seen in this photo.
Our Sandless Finish Deep Sanding Process involves multiple passes of our specialized, low dust emitting sanding equipment. Multiple passes ensure that a deep sanding is achieved and that all damaged and defective layers of wood are removed. This method leaves our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists with a healthy, smooth surface of wood to work with.
This previously damaged area of hardwood flooring has completely recovered it's color and shine after our Sandless Finish Deep Cleaning and Custom Staining Processes.
The final step in the process was our Sandless Finish Custom Staining Process. Our Specialists worked with the customer to create a custom stain that matched their tastes. Once the stain was applied and allowed to dry, multiple layers of a high quality, commercial grade polyurethane were applied to the hardwood floor. The results can be seen in this photo of the dining room - the customer's hardwood floor now has a beautiful, natural look with a consistent and vibrant shine! Our customer could not be happier with their new wood floors!
