Apartment - Midtown West, NY, NY

Before:
Floor Refinishing NYC

This customer was moving into a new apartment and wanted to have the hardwood floors refinished. Due to improper installation by a previous contractor some of the parquet floor was warping (as highlighted by the arrows in the photo). Dirt and debris had embedded itself into the rest of the wood floor as well, dulling the overall appearance.

This photo shows another problem with the parquet floors. The stain on these newly installed floorboards did not match with the rest of the room. Our Custom Sandless Finish Color Blending Process was the perfect solution to restore this section of hardwood flooring!

 After:
Floor Refinishing NY

Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists' first task was to repair the warping of the improperly installed boards. In order to accomplish this, the boards needed to be replaced. Our specialists removed the warped parquet floorboards and replaced them with new wood to correct the problem. Once the boards were in place and stained to match the rest of the floor, our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Process was performed. This removed all of the dirt and debris from the wood and ensured the parquet floors were sanitized. Finally, multiple layers of a high quality commercial grade polyurethane were applied to achieve the appearance seen in this photo!

This photo shows the area that was incorrectly stained by a previous contractor. Special machines and pads were used to completely remove the stain from the floorboards. Once the boards were completely sanitized, our Specialists created a stain using our Custom Sandless Finish Color Blending Process. The stain was applied to the wood floor and multiple layers of a high quality, commercial grade polyurethane were applied. The newly installed section of flooring now blends seamlessly with the rest of the room!
