Apartment - Chelsea, NYC
Before:

This customer wanted the hardwood floor in their new apartment refinished.

The previous tenants had not properly cared for the wood floors. Furniture was dragged throughout the apartment leaving scratches on the hardwood flooring. The improper use of cleaning products combined with an accumulation of dirt and debris over time caused the conditions seen here.

When embedded soils are allowed to become embedded in a hardwood floor it deteriorates the finish, leaving the wood floor susceptible to damage.

This entryway would also need to be refinished. In some cases our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists recommend sanding a wood floor. Such was the case for this customer.

After:

Our Sandless Finish Deep Sanding Process utilizes special machinery to penetrate and remove all damaged layers of wood while creating minimal dust.

Once the hardwood floor is given a deep sanding by our Specialists, the wood floor is sealed and buffed to ensure the smoothest finish possible is achieved.

As a final step, multiple layers of a high quality, commercial grade polyurethane are applied to the hardwood floor. As the photos show, the hardwood floor now has a consistent, natural color and vibrant finish that was lacking before!

With the proper maintenance (see how to properly care for your floors here: http://www.sandlessfinish.com/Maintenance_Of_New_Floor.html) these hardwood floors will maintain their newly restored condition for many years to come!
