Apartment - Soho, NY
This customer was moving into a new apartment and wanted to have the hardwood floors refinished. The previous tenants had allowed dirt and debris to embed themselves into the wood floor, causing the discoloration and fading seen in the photo. The customer also wanted to change the color of their hardwood floors which was not a problem for our Sandless Finsh Staining Process!
This bedroom also needed to be refinished. When soils are allowed to sit on a hardwood floor over time the polyurethane deteriorates, leaving the floor discolored, faded and prone to further damage. Luckily for our customer, the Sandless Finish method completely removes all of the dirt and debris and restores the wood floor to it's original, healthy condition!
Half and Half Method:
In this situation removing the furniture from the apartment was not an option. Under such circumstances our Specialists will employ a "half and half" method. First, the exposed hardwood flooring was refinished using our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Process. Our Specialists then created a custom stain that worked best for our customer's taste and stained the floor with our Sandless Finish Staining Process. The newly restored wood floor has a beautiful color and shine that our customer loved!
