Apartment - Midtown East, NY

Before:

This customer wanted the hardwood floors in their new apartment refinished. The previous tenants had not taken proper care of the wood floors. Dirt and debris was allowed to penetrate the hardwood floor. Over time the polyurethane was deteriorated which led to the conditions you see here.

The other room of the apartment had the same problems. When polyurethane deteriorates it leaves a hardwood floor vulnerable to discoloration as seen in the photo. The customer also wanted to lighten the color of the wood floors. In some cases our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists recommend sanding a floor, as was the case for this customer.

After:

Our Sandless Finish Deep Sanding Process utilizes multiple passes of varying grades of sand paper (going from rough to smooth) in order to remove all damaged layers of wood flooring. Dust is kept to a minimum due to the use of our special machinery. Once the floor is completely sanded to the smoothest finish possible, the hardwood floor is sealed and multiple layers of a high quality, commercial grade polyurethane are applied. The results of our Specialists work can be seen in the photo.

Our Sandless Finish Deep Sanding Process was successful in the other room as well. As you can see, the wood floor now has a beautiful, natural color with a vibrant, consistent shine! The customer was very happy with their new floors and could not wait to move in!
