Co-op Building - Chinatown, NY, NY

Before:
Hardwood Floor Sanding NYC

This customer was not happy with the condition of the hardwood floors in their new Co-op building. Due to improper care the floors were damaged over time, accumulating dirt, debris, scratches, and paint throughout the surface of the floor. The soils in the floor had begun to dissolve the polyurethane, leaving the floor dull and lifeless. Also, a long strip in the middle of the floor was lacking boards. This is where a wall was torn down and the floor was never refinished properly.

In this closer shot of the floor, the area lacking hardwood flooring can be seen more clearly. Scratches and discoloration can be seen in the rest of the floor as well.

The hallway showed the same problems as the rest of the floor. The customer decided to sand the hardwood floors of their co-op and refinish them from scratch. They also wanted to stain the floors to have a rustic "Ash Grey" appearance. Our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists are experts in the sanding process as well as providing custom stains - the customer had come to the right place!

After:
Wood Floor Staining NYC

Before any work could begin our Sandless Finish Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists analyzed the floor and acquired the necessary wood to fill the gaps left in the room. Our deep sanding process then removed all of the old, damaged polyurethane as well as the damaged layers of wood from the rest of the floor. This ensured that a smooth, even, and healthy final layer was achieved. Then our Sandless Finish Color Specialists worked together with the customer to design a custom stain that would suit their tastes. After the floor was stained the rustic "Ash Grey" color you see here, the floor was protected with multiple applications of our high quality, commercial grade polyurethane.
